			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Andy Warhol&#8217;s <em>Lemon Marilyn, </em>originally purchased for a mere $250, is expected to fetch<em> </em>at least $15 million when it is put on the auction block at Christie&#8217;s in New York on May 16.</p>
<p>Christie&#8217;s did not reveal the identity of the private collector, who bought the painting at Eleanor Ward&#8217;s Stable Gallery in New York where Warhol held his first one-man exhibition.</p>
<p>The 1962 silk-screen of Marilyn Monroe was one of a series of 13 paintings Warhol created following Monroe&#8217;s August 1962 death.</p>
